Oldham town centre solid wood worktops. Parish Church of St James, Oldham solid wood worktops. Deluxe oak solid wood worktops are a popular choice in Oldham.

Settled amid the Pennines, Oldham is a large settlement in Greater Manchester, and was a boomtown of the Industrial Revolution with a rich history of textile production. Among the first ever industrialised towns, Oldham was named one of the most important centres of cotton and textile industries in England, at its peak. At the height of the industrialisation frenzy, the town was even known to be the most productive cotton-spinning mill town in the entire world, manufacturing more cotton than France and Germany combined! With the decline of the textiles industry in the 20th century, the town was rejuvenated as a centre for further education and performing arts.

Situated 4 miles south of the M62 motorway, and 8 miles north-east of Manchester city centre, Oldham has excellent transport links and is only a short distance from the M6, opening access to both the North and South.

What's more, Oldham is only a 30-mile drive from our Warrington showroom in Cheshire. This fabulous showroom opened in January 2016, and features nine separate kitchen sets, including the finest wooden worktops in our collection, in addition to a complete range of our timber, laminate and Earthstone worktop samples.
