Description
This good quality 1/2" TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) router cutter can be used to cut through solid wood worktops with ease - when using a worktop jig and 1/2" router - and comes with a twin flute that allows for smooth and efficient cutting.
Our straight router cutter (50.8mm) is ideal for general worktop cuts, whilst the ballnosed cutter (63.5mm) is suitable for creating channels for drainage and grooves for our stainless steel hotrods.
Please note: These router cutters are suitable for routers with a 12.7mm shank.

I have been revamping my kitchen - re-tiling, painting and replacing the worktops that had been in place for over 20 years, however the oak doored units were in perfect condition so were retained. I offered the job to supply and fit new worktops to a local fitter, to my surprise he didn't want to know saying the risk to profit percentage wasn't worth the risk. Being a confident DIYer I decided to tackle the task myself. This is where Worktop Express came in which I found whilst searching on line, they can supply worktop samples for a small fee which is reimbursed if an order is placed. I received a swatch of samples within a couple of days from ordering, found a suitable finish and placed my order, 2 x 3mtr worktops, a router jig to enable the Masons Mitre joint, jointing bolt kit and a good quality router bit. ( I already owned a router)
Delivery was made within very few days with Worktop Express keeping me fully updated on delivery progress such as date and time of day within a 2 hour window, and a phone call from the driver 30 minutes before actual delivery. All items ordered were delivered in perfect undamaged condition by the helpful 2 man team. My kitchen is now completed and I’m very happy with the outcome. With this in mind I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
