It is important that kitchen worktops are fixed into place securely when two lengths are connected, preventing movement and unhygienic gaps between surfaces. This worktop bolts 10 pack can be used for securing both butt joins and mitre joins for solid wood, laminate and Earthstone worktops.
When connecting work surfaces together, you will need to use a worktop jig to router 'dog bones' (so called due to their shape) into the underside of each worktop length to be connected. Once lined up in position, your worktop bolts can be put in place. The wings of the nuts at either end of the connector bolts will hold them in place, allowing the bolts to be tightened into position using a spanner.
Three worktop connector bolts are required for each connection between two worktop lengths. These bolts are manufactured in the UK and have been zinc plated to prevent corrosion. Each bolt measures 150mm in length and this pack contains 10 bolts.
