Kitchen Worktops

While it's technically possible to paint a kitchen worktop, we wouldn't recommend doing so - even with preparation and specialist paint, a painted worktop is likely to chip and peel with the general wear and tear of daily cooking. The results are unlikely to last, so replacing the worktop is usually a more reliable solution.

Kitchen worktops are typically joined using worktop bolts and a clear or colour-matched sealant to create a waterproof join. Accurate cutting and proper alignment are important for a seamless and secure joint - we recommend using Zipblades and Zipbolt Connectors, both of which are specifically designed for use with worktops.

Minor scratches and chips can often be repaired using specialist worktop filler kits, sanding or refinishing depending on the worktop material.
