This Calcutta Marble laminate worktop upstand is perfect for creating a seamless, hygienic join between your worktop and wall, and can easily disguise gaps caused by an uneven wall surface. Fit with a clear silicone sealant to prevent water ingress to the rear of your worktop. These marble effect kitchen upstands are produced using the same techniques as our laminate worktops, using a fibreboard core, wrapped in a layer of durable laminate with a large-scale Italian marble design. Please note: this item should not be fitted directly behind a hob without additional protection. Please refer to the hob manufacturer's guidelines to ensure that your installation complies with safety standards. (N.B. All of our laminate upstands come with the short edges unfinished.
