  1. Good morning, we have been oiling our oak worktop with Liberon superior Danish oil. We are up to 5 coats now and a satin lustre is finally appearing, I aim to put on more coats but don’t want a varnished look, my question is would you apply a hard wax and buff which gives a beautiful Finnish, or keep going with the Danish.
    Cheers Dave

  2. Hi Dave,
Glad to hear your worktops are looking great with many coats of worktop oil. You can buff some wax into the wood to give it a further shine, but the oiling is always necessary. We recommend oiling every 3-6 months to keep the wood of your worktops healthy and looking fresh.
    Many thanks,
    Adam @ Worktop Express
