Solid Oak Shelf 900mm x 200mm x 30mm, £43.00
Our 900mm slimline solid oak shelves are manufactured from sustainably-sourced European timber of the highest quality. The timber is cut and finished by the highly-trained team here in our UK-based workshop and delivered straight to our customers, cutting out the high street middlemen.
With the unique grain pattern and light golden colour that are characteristic of oak, this timber makes for sophisticated wooden shelving that will darken slightly as the wood gradually matures. Fabricated from the same attractive wood that we use for our solid oak countertops, this favoured timber is a great choice for strong and long-lasting shelving - and is ideal for kitchens, offices, and anywhere else that takes your fancy!
This particular range of solid oak shelving is available in two thickness options - 30mm or 40mm - allowing you to choose between a 'slimline' or 'chunky' aesthetic. Once our shelves have been finished with square edges and sanded to a 150 grit smoothness, they are then given three coats of HABiol Oil, to enrich the natural grain pattern and protect the timber.
This slimline shelving is 30mm thick, and is constructed from a series of finger-jointed staves measuring 40mm wide, which are bonded together under high pressure with glue. This technique creates an attractive finish whilst ensuring maximum strength.
We pre-drill our floating shelves for your convenience, so that they are ready to be mounted on your chosen wall using the three specialist 'invisible' brackets provided. Specialist floating fixings complete the appearance of these solid oak shelves, which look stylish in any room.
The natural features of real wood are unparalleled by softwood or laminate imitations. Meticulously constructed from only raw material that meets the highest of standards, our shelves are full of natural character and resilience. Small knots and splits can occasionally be present in natural timber; this is very rare but is considered a natural feature that adds to the unique character of the product.
