The upstands are treated with an Osmo Oil Stain to achieve the same deep black finish, highlighting the natural grain of the wood and ensuring a consistent, sophisticated aesthetic throughout your kitchen.
A wooden upstand serves to hide the 5mm expansion gap required when installing any solid wood worktops. They are also essential when fitting timber worktops against uneven walls, as they hide any small gaps offering a more seamless look.
