Basque Oak Real Life 1.5m Laminate Edging Strip
This Basque Oak edging strip is part of our Real Life Laminates range which is our most realistic-looking and feeling laminate collection. Measuring 1500mm x 43mm, this edging strip is created to match the eye-catching and intricate design of our identical Basque Oak laminate worktops with realistic, earthy tones that give it the desired natural oak look. This look comes from a very high-quality grain and knot detail on the surface and an intricate texture to touch, but with the added benefits that laminate provides of greater versatility, superior impact and abrasion resistance, and a lower cost.
Cutting a laminate worktop to size will uncover the core, exposing the surface to damage and water ingress. You will need an edging strip to protect the worktop and to maintain the real-life aesthetics throughout all visible areas of the worktop.
This worktop edging strip can be fitted easily - simply affix to your worktops with PVA glue or a similar adhesive. Once dry, the top of the edging strip may need to be filed down to ensure a flush finish with the top of the work surface. It can be cut-to-size and one strip may be suitable for use on multiple unfinished worktop edges.
