A black granite laminate worktop upstand is an attractive accessory for our Black Granite laminate worktops, creating a smooth and hygienic join between your countertop and kitchen wall.
Made from the same materials as our laminate worktops, these granite effect kitchen upstands combine high-quality composite fibreboard with a decorative laminate wrap. The two elements are then sealed together using high heat and pressure to create a smooth and durable wearing finish. These laminate upstands contain small grey flecks to imitate the attractive look of granite.
Black Granite (Nimbus) upstands are an elegant addition to any kitchen, and make a stylish alternative to tiling, and we also offer a splashback in this same range.
Please note: This item should not be fitted directly behind a hob without additional protection. Please refer to the hob manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure that your installation complies with safety standards.
Please note: All of our laminate upstands come with the short edges unfinished. We recommend purchasing a matching edging strip and trimming to size before applying it to provide protection to the exposed core and give your upstand professional finish.
