Just like our Oak effect laminate worktops, these oak effect kitchen upstands are manufactured with a high-quality composite fibreboard centre that is wrapped in a decorative overlay; the two elements are then sealed with heat and high pressure.

These wood effect upstands are an elegant alternative to splashbacks or tiling, and contribute to the overall look of a kitchen and we also offer a matching splashback in the same decor as another option.

Please note: This item should not be fitted directly behind a hob without additional protection. Please refer to the hob manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure that your installation complies with safety standards.

Please note: All of our laminate upstands come with the short edges unfinished. We recommend purchasing a matching edging strip and trimming to size before applying to provide protection to the exposed core and give your upstand professional finish.

Delivery & Returns

Our Two Person Home Delivery Service will deliver to a ground floor room of your choice with clear access on a day that’s convenient for you. Costs start from £29.50 for one worktop plus £15 for each additional worktop (charges capped at 3 worktops) – order before 12 noon for next-day delivery. There is an additional £10 charge for deliveries for the next working day. Find out more about this service on our delivery details page.

If your items do not arrive as expected, please notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery so we can arrange repair or replacement. Should you change your mind once you have received your goods, please inform us within 14 calendar days of delivery – find out more on our returns information page.
