Connecting kitchen worktops securely is important to prevent movement and stop unhygienic gaps from forming. This worktop bolts 1000 pack contains 1000 bolts that can be used to secure connecting solid wood, laminate and Earthstone worktops together and can be used in mitre or butt joins.
When connecting two lengths of worktop, 'dog bones' (named due to their shape) will need to be routed into the underside of each surface - a worktop jig can be used to ensure accuracy. After the worktops are in position the bolts can be put in place and will be held there by the wings on the nuts at each end. Each bolt can then be tightened using a spanner to fix firmly into place.
Each worktop connection will require three bolts to secure in place and this pack contains 1000 bolts. They are all plated with zinc to prevent corrosion and have been manufactured in the UK, measuring 150mm in length each.
