Our latest ‘Question of the Week’ comes from Adrian in Rugby, who emailed in to ask what kind of natural features he should expect to see on our real wood worktops.
“I really like the idea of having wood worktops in my kitchen, but want to know what kind of natural features or imperfections I should expect to see on a kitchen worktop. Do you have any guidelines?”
First of all, thank you for getting in touch regarding our solid wood worktops, we are glad that you are considering them for your kitchen.
Because of timber’s natural qualities, it is certain that any wooden worktop that you order from Worktop Express will feature a number of natural features that makes every one of our worktops unique. Some timbers feature knots, medullary rays, defining grain patterns and other characteristics that only add to the character of the timber.
