Incorporating End Grain Butcher Blocks with Solid Wood Kitchen Work Surfaces
If your kitchen has ample space in one corner, an end grain butcher block can easily be mounted onto the worktop – either as a full-time addition or as a temporary surface that can be brought out when needed.
To permanently mount an end grain butcher block, we recommend having a matching cut-out on the wooden worktop in which the butchers block can be firmly installed. We also suggest that you screw it to the underside of the worktop for added stability.
Our butcher blocks come in a range of different timbers to suit your wooden kitchen worktops, and are available in either circular or rectangular variants.
Using End Grain Butcher Blocks on a Kitchen Island
Kitchen islands are the ideal location for an expansive end grain butchers block. Whilst also providing a resilient area on which to prepare meat and vegetables, butchers blocks also enhance the visual appeal of these large preparation spaces.
Our 1M long rectangular butcher blocks are ideal for mounting on the side of a kitchen island, whilst our circular butcher blocks make a great feature on a corner or end of an island.
