“Which service should I choose for delivery of my real wood kitchen worktops?”

Today’s ‘Question of the Week’ comes from James in Northampton, who asked us to recommend which delivery service would best suit his situation.

QUESTION:

“I am just about to order my oak worktops from you but wanted to know which delivery service would suit me best? I live in a ground floor apartment but need the real wood kitchen worktops brought into the kitchen for me.”

ANSWER:

Hi James,

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch – we are really happy to hear that you are planning on ordering oak worktops from us.

At Worktop Express we offer a wide variety of delivery options that cover the vast majority of the United Kingdom. If customers – such as yourself – live within our 2Man delivery zone, then we always recommend this service in preference to any of the third-party services we offer.

Our 2Man team is increasing all the time and we can now deliver solid wood worktops and other accessories to many parts of England, Wales and Scotland. If you place your order before 12 noon, we can often deliver it the very next day (subject to stock and availability), and will provide a 2 hour time slot on the day of delivery.

Once our 2Man team are on their way, they will call when within half an hour of your address, and will then unload the worktops to a ground floor location of your choice. If you require, we are also happy to remove any packaging for you.

If you are not within our 2Man delivery areas, never fear: we offer a variety of third-party courier choices that may be operated by either a one or two-man team. The one-man delivery options will require assistance from an able-bodied person and is a kerbside delivery, so goods are not carried to your door.
