“Can I click and collect solid wood tops from you?”

Our latest ‘Question of the Week’ was sent in by Keira in Burford, who is about to order solid wood tops from us, but wanted to know if she could collect her goods rather than having them delivered.

QUESTION:

“I am about to order some worktops for our new kitchen and wanted to know if you offer a click and collect service, as I don’t live that far from your Gloucester showroom.”

ANSWER:

Hi Keira,

Thank you for getting in touch with us regarding your worktop order. Whilst we do recommend taking advantage of our specialist 2Man delivery service, collection is available from a number of locations around England, including our Gloucestershire headquarters.

Although it is on our website development roadmap, we do not currently have a ‘click and collect’ system implemented; as such, if you would like to collect your worktops from us you will need choose the following option at the checkout: ‘Speak to a member of our team after purchase to organise delivery’. After completing your order at the online checkout, a member of the sales team will then call you back to arrange the collection, and remove the £25 delivery charge before taking payment.

Your order must be placed before 12 noon the day before you would like to pick up the worktop, and collection is available between 10am and 4pm on all weekdays. Please also note that we are not insured to load worktops into customer’s cars, so you will need to bring a second able-bodied person to help load the worktop.

All wooden worktops are supplied shrink-wrapped but without any additional packaging, so you may want to bring something suitable to wrap the worktop in to protect it further. Please carefully measure the vehicle you plan on collecting your worktops on, as they will be at least 2M long, which usually requires a van to transport them safely.
