Worktop Express - Delivery DetailsAll worktops are available for immediate delivery from stock (unless stated otherwise). Next day delivery is available on worktops ordered before 10am. Moreover, as our website operates a live stock and delivery booking system, our customers can confirm delivery date at point of order. For the majority of England and Wales, we provide our premium 2Man service at no extra cost (the delivery options for each area are listed by postcode in a table further down this page). As part of this service, our specialist team of two drivers will offload, unpack and dispose of any transport packaging. Alternatively, we work with two third-party couriers to provide two additional delivery options: nationwide next day delivery on worktops purchased before 10am, which means that delivery can occur as soon as 24 hours after purchase (though please note that this is a one man service and thus certain high value items are not available for next day delivery); or, for high value items, a separate, specialist nationwide service delivering to the few areas not serviced by our own 2Man delivery network.
Standard delivery prices shown are for UK mainland only. Surcharges may occur to Highlands / Islands. For quick and easy information regarding which services are available to your postcode, simply add the required items to your shopping basket. There is no need to check out or create an account at this stage; when items are added, you will be directed to the 'Shopping Cart' page and an option will appear to calculate delivery charges (the 'Shipping Estimator' tool). On entering your postcode, various possibilities (relating to our 2Man service, third-party nationwide next-day service, or third-party nationwide two man service) and prices will be displayed. We offer an unprecedented delivery booking service on our website, allowing you to choose from a wide range of available services to select the exact date and timeslot to suit your requirements.

*Due to the popularity of the Worktop Express 2man service, we would recommend that you book your 2Man delivery a few days in advance to guarantee reservation of your desired timeslot. For urgent orders, we offer an overnight courier service, allowing us to deliver next day to the majority of UK Mainland. Delivery Option 2: An overnight third-party courier service which can deliver as soon as 24 hours after purchase (next day delivery if worktops are ordered before 10am). Please note that certain high value items are not eligible for next day delivery with this courier option (in such cases, the option will not be displayed on the ‘Shipping Estimator’ or check out page). Our overnight courier service option is clearly displayed – where applicable - when delivery charges are calculated on the ‘Shopping Cart’ website page and at check out. With this courier service some surcharges may apply to the Scottish Highlands, off-shore islands, Northern Ireland and Eire. These are calculated at the shopping basket stage (on entering the relevant postcode). Delivery Option 3: Alternatively, for high value goods to areas not covered by the Worktop Express 2Man delivery service, we utilise a specialist two man courier. This service is very similar to the Worktop Express 2Man service but covers the entirety of the UK, with a delivery time of 3-10 working days (typically delivering to England and Wales within 5 working days from collection and Scotland within 7 working days.) Once your goods have been collected from us, the courier will call you to book a suitable date and timeslot. You will also receive a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to delivery. On arrival, the two man crew will offload the goods to a ground floor room of your choosing, utilising our reusable packaging where possible. Our external two man delivery service option is clearly displayed – where eligible - when delivery charges are calculated on the ‘Shopping Cart’ website page and at check out. With this courier service some surcharges may apply to the Scottish Highlands, off-shore islands, Northern Ireland and Eire. Delivery is organised to occur on a suitable day. For our nationwide next day courier service– which is one man only - an able-bodied person is required to be present at the delivery address on the day of delivery to assist the driver with offloading. Please note that standard worktops can weigh between 45/85kgs, so due care must be taken when offloading any goods. Delivery is to the nearest ground floor access point of the building only. Delivery Costs: Costs begin at £25.00 for the first worktop, plus £15.00 for each additional worktop (UK Mainland). We offer free delivery an all accessories (including upstands) when purchased with a worktop. Please note that though every effort will be made to ensure that delivery occurs during the timeslot specified, due to unforeseen conditions – such as traffic - delivery can occasionally take place at a slightly different time from the slot specified. Certain areas are subject to delivery restrictions / surcharges: this information is displayed during checkout. If in doubt, please contact us for further information before making a purchase. We are also happy to store any worktop orders for a certain amount of time to guarantee availability and stock holding for a future date. We offer this service as we understand how stressful it can be to organise a kitchen installation; indeed, many of our customers will book worktop orders and delivery dates in advance to remove it from their do-to lists! All worktop orders are packaged to a high standard to ensure a swift and trouble-free arrival. It is essential that all worktops are checked upon receipt before they are signed for. If any of the packaging appears to be damaged or not intact, the goods must be signed for as "damaged" and a damage report should be filled out with the driver. If someone is signing for the goods on your behalf, please ensure that he/she is aware of and understands the terms of delivery. We need to be informed of any damage within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to comply with any of the above will result in a void claim. Due to the insurance liability, we cannot accept responsibility for any damaged items signed for as "clear", "unchecked" or in "good condition". |
