2009 - A Review

Having dusted off the work clothes(!) and finally finished the Christmas left-overs, 2010 is well underway. Whilst we will continue to strive for excellence and improvement in 2010, it is important not to forget the achievements of 2009. The previous trading year was successful for both Worktop Express and our valued customers. With a delivery success and customer satisfaction rate of 99%, we start the New Year with quite a reputation to uphold! We are keen to improve these figures even further in the New Year, following substantial investment in many areas of the business, as we continue to strengthen our position in the online market.

2009 saw our fabrication department grow from strength to strength and the standard of our service last year gained us critical acclaim (see House Beautiful February 2010 issue), along with several other features that are due to be published over the coming months. An extremely satisfied customer in Aberdeen (Thanks Barbara!) paid for our installation team to travel from Gloucestershire, including accommodation, to install a beautiful set of Walnut worktops in her new kitchen. We despatched thousands of worktop orders throughout the UK, along with a variety of offshore destinations such as Spain, France and even Turkey. We also gladly supplied a fully fabricated set of oak worktops to feature on a new prime time Channel 4 show, please stay tuned for further information as and when we receive this.
